This notice describes the current service at movietoday.kr. The MovieToday operator handles service and privacy questions at the email address below. There is no separate MovieToday registration or account.
Your quiz answers
Answers, favorite-film inputs and seen-film choices are used in the open tab’s memory to calculate recommendations. They are not stored in a MovieToday member database or sent to an external recommendation AI. Reloading resets the answers. Separate viewing-option requests may disclose a film title and country, as explained below.
What your browser remembers
Your selected language is kept in localStorage as movietoday-language. Viewing results are cached as movietoday-viewing-v1, with film, country, check time and service links, up to 300 records. The app ignores records older than seven days and excludes them when saving again; it does not physically erase storage while your browser is closed. Clear site data for movietoday.kr in your browser settings to remove these values.
External connections and access data
For a country default, your browser connects to api.country.is, whose provider receives your IP address. Viewing-option checks may use r.jina.ai to read a public JustWatch URL containing a film title and country. Loading external posters or service logos sends ordinary connection information to their providers. Hosting and delivery providers may process IP addresses, request URLs and access times to deliver and secure the service. Their own policies govern their processing and retention.
Shared links and other sites
A shared recommendation URL contains up to three film identifiers, not your full quiz answers or email address. Anyone with the link can see those picks, and the URL may appear in hosting or messaging-service logs. Following a viewing or source link takes you to another site, where that site’s privacy and cookie policies apply.
Contact messages
If you email us, we use your email address, message and attachments to review and respond to the request. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Messages are retained in the email account for replies and follow-up. You may request access, correction or deletion through the same contact address for the operator to review and handle. Email-provider backups or legally required retention may still apply after deletion. Browser-only values can be removed by clearing this site’s data yourself.
Advertising and cookies: the current position
MovieToday currently has no Google AdSense advertising code or separate visitor analytics tag installed. This is not a claim of AdSense approval. Before introducing ads, we will update this notice with the actual providers, cookies, personalization choices and required consent controls. If Google ads are introduced, Google and third-party vendors may use cookies based on previous visits to this or other sites to serve ads. Google personalization choices are available through My Ad Center. This describes a possible future introduction, not active advertising cookies today.

We will update this notice and its effective date when new data processing or advertising features are introduced. Contact the MovieToday operator at the company email below about privacy or data-rights requests.
