What MovieToday does
MovieToday helps you choose a film through your mood, interests and available time. Answer the quiz for personal picks, or explore themed film notes without taking it. No account or payment is required. We help you discover films; we do not stream them or provide film downloads.
Two ways to find a film
Personal recommendations use your answers and filters such as genre, era, country and runtime. Where available, source-backed review labels describe tone, themes and style. Unknown information stays unknown, and research depth varies across the catalog. Film notes are separately curated collections, not personalized rankings or a claim of audience consensus.
How an edit is made
We match the title and release year, then compare film information with what the underlying reviews actually say. An easy story is not necessarily a cheerful one; slow pacing is not the same as boredom. Our selection notes interpret that evidence. Automated and AI tools assist research organization and writing; the recommendation copy is written separately rather than reproducing full reviews.
A different edit each week
Weekly sets change on Mondays at 00:00 Korea Standard Time. Films do not repeat across that week’s collections, and each featured film takes the following three weeks off. Adding research does not randomly shuffle an edition midweek. A resting collection keeps its selection guide and links to the current edit.
Sources and watching links
Film facts draw on linked public sources including Wikipedia and DBpedia. Film-specific reading notes identify supporting reviews. Public access does not remove copyright: original reviews and artwork remain subject to their rights holders’ terms. Streaming availability, pricing and regional rights change; check the destination service before paying or subscribing.
Corrections matter
Use the contact page to send the film title, release year, affected page and supporting information. We review identification, availability, translation, attribution and rights concerns, and may correct or remove affected content after reviewing the request.
